I’ve worked with David for nearly 25 years. My entire career. While retirement goals are in sight due to his advising, it’s not been until recently that we’ve accumulated a small amount of wealth needing managing. For as long as we have worked together, David has never treated us as though we are any less important than any of his wealthier clients. So grateful to have David and team on our team.
We began working with David when we were pregnant with our first child—at age 32 and 31—and we had no money. We had college debt, were at the beginning of our professional careers as a teacher and an architect, we were in grad school at the time, and then we had two kids back-to-back. To say those years were financially thin feels like an understatement. Regardless, David always treated us with such respect. He helped us get life insurance and started our investments with small amounts, and, as our careers and finances grew, he advised us wisely every step of the way. We have been with him for almost 20 years now and he has always treated us the same, from the time when we were young, broke, and clueless to now, when we are older, have money, and are making plans for our future retirement, paying for college, and our older adult life. I think that is what I appreciate most about David and it is why we have sent all our friends to him: He will work with what you have, he will help you make wise choices, and he is truly an enjoyable human to talk to about life, legacy, money, and your dreams. He feels like family, and I feel like he is looking out for our best interests.
